Today U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08), Fort Bragg's Congressman, released the following statement after paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division deployed in response to recent events in Iraq:

"When the president dials 9-1-1, Fort Bragg answers the call," said Rep. Hudson. "Renee and I are praying for these paratroopers and their safe return home, for their families, and for all of America's men and women in uniform."
