Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) released the following statement as Americans mark the 47th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision.
"Each life -- born and unborn -- is a precious gift from God that is worthy of our protection. For 47 years, Roe v. Wade and the amoral destruction of life have directly contradicted this truth. As a doctor, I took an oath to protect human life and to "do no harm.' It is my privilege -- and my responsibility -- to stand alongside President Trump and other pro-life Americans as we continue our shared fight for life. On behalf of the 13th District of Pennsylvania, I will continue to serve as a voice for the voiceless and as a defender of the most vulnerable among us."
