McCollum Statement on the Budget Reconciliation Bill

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-04) issued the following statement in opposition to the fiscally irresponsible Republican budget reconciliation bill that passed early this morning by a vote of 217 to 215.
"This is another indictment of the Republican leadership's willingness to cast aside the most vulnerable members of society - seniors, children and students - in favor of special tax breaks for wealthy investors and political donors."
