Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement in response to reports that more than 200 rockets are being fired from Gaza at Israel.

"No nation can allow its civilians to be targeted by rocket fire. Israel has every right to defend itself from terrorists and the United States must continue to support our ally. I am proud of the support Congress has given to Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system that today is helping to prevent civilian casualties from hostile foreign actors."
