House Budget Committee Ranking Member Steve Womack (R-AR) released the following statement upon Senate Budget Committee approval of S. 2765, the Bipartisan Congressional Budget Reform Act:

"I commend Chairman Enzi and Senator Whitehouse on today's successful vote to advance bipartisan budget process reform. Their leadership has secured an important step toward fulfillment of Congress' Article I duty. I hope this debate continues, and Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate come forward with ideas to address the dysfunction in our budget and appropriations process."
