Delgado delivers flag flown over the U.S. Capitol for village of Franklin Park

Statement

On Veterans Day, Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) joined a community ceremony to present the Village of Franklin with a new American flag.

"For generations, our veterans have marched under this flag and defended our freedom, democracy, and our American values." Delgado continued, "I was honored to join the Village of Franklin on Veterans Day and present the community with a new flag flown over the U.S. Capitol."

Rep. Delgado has made assisting the more than 40,000 veterans in NY-19 a focus of his work in Congress, guided by conversations with his Veterans Advisory Committee. During this in-district workweek, Rep. Delgado is visiting with veterans and the organizations that serve them. Last week, Rep. Delgado hosted a panel with elected officials, community leaders, veteran support organizations, and non-profits focused on veterans' transition to civilian life.
