U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) released the following statement:

"I'm grateful first and foremost for the brave men and women of the U.S. Special Operations Forces, who carried out the operation, and to the Trump Administration for seeing this national security priority through," Delgado said. "The United States and the world are safer with al-Baghdadi off the battlefield. We must continue to stand with our international partners in this fight against terrorism."
