Cotton Statement on EU Targeting of Israeli Products

Statement

Date: Nov. 12, 2019
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Foreign Affairs

U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement after the European Court of Justice ruled earlier today that European Union states must label goods originating from the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights as "made in a settlement":

"It's disgraceful for the European Court of Justice to endorse the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement. Yet again, the international community reveals its obsession with singling out and punishing Israel."
