Cornyn on Fox: Democrats Choose Impeachment Over Lowering Drug Prices, Trade Agreements

Today on Fox News' America's Newsroom, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) discussed the House's impeachment proceedings and its effect on Congress's ability to accomplish its legislative agenda for the American people.

"While you don't have to agree with what the President said or the way he said it to believe that this is not sufficient grounds to put the country through this and basically to push everything else off the table, things like lowering prescription drug costs for consumers, things like the USMCA, the trade agreement with Mexico and Canada, things that would actually help improve the lives of American citizens. Instead of that, they want to do this, and I think it's a big mistake."

"I think Speaker Pelosi is doing this, Adam Schiff is doing this for their own politics but certainly not for the benefit of the American people."
