Today, Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) issued the following statement after the House of Representatives passed a resolution that establishes procedures for the next phase of the impeachment inquiry into President Trump:

"It is clear that Donald Trump endangered our national security and undermined our democracy when he continually asked various foreign governments to interfere with our elections. Last month, I joined my colleagues to hold Donald Trump accountable for this abuse of power when we opened an official impeachment inquiry--and today, I continued to hold him accountable by providing a clear path forward for the ongoing impeachment inquiry by voting on this resolution."
