Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) made the following statement after the Trump Administration's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Army Corps of Engineers finalized the repeal of the harmful Waters of the Unites States (WOTUS) rule, put into effect by the Obama Administration.

"The repeal of WOTUS is one of the most important issues facing my constituents. Therefore, I thank President Trump and Administrator Wheeler for issuing this final draft rule, marking the beginning of the end for a burdensome power grab affecting Minnesotans across all industries. I know farmers, manufacturers, and homeowners in my district look forward to the completion of this rule and the removal of onerous red tape that has negatively affected their daily lives for too long."
