Senate Judiciary Committee Supports the Nomination of Justin Walker

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) made the following statement today after the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee voted to approve the nomination of Justin Walker, President Trump's nominee to serve as a district judge for the Western District of Kentucky:

"As I told the Senate Judiciary Committee, Justin Walker is a thoroughly impressive nominee with the experience and qualifications to excel on the federal bench in Kentucky. I'm glad my colleagues advanced his nomination, recognizing both his outstanding credentials and the strong support he's earned throughout the Commonwealth. Justin will make an extraordinary addition to the federal judiciary, and I look forward to the full Senate considering his nomination soon."

NOTE: Senator McConnell introduced Walker during his nomination hearing on July 31, 2019.
