"The Trump Administration's attack on our states' efforts to clean up our air and combat climate change is deeply disturbing. The threat of climate change is becoming all the more present in our day-to-day lives, and we must immediately take action. I strongly support Maryland's efforts to fight back against this decision, and I will continue working in the Senate to promote legislation -- such as my Cap and Dividend proposal -- to tackle climate change head-on."
