Issue Position

Mandie will push to make sure that our state properly invests in teachers and schools, and to advocate for increased funding for early childhood education. Too many Louisiana children live in poverty, and they need access to a good, stable education at every stage of their lives. Mandie will work to ensure that the state's recent investments in teacher pay and early childhood education continue. And, just as importantly, Mandie believes that all children deserve the right to a safe school environment - one free from guns and weapons.
