Rep. Chip Roy released the following statement Thursday August 15, 2019:

Democrat Reps Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib should have come with the rest of the U.S. delegation to Israel. Over 70 of us met together on a bipartisan basis and had independent visits with Prime Minister Netanyahu, and the leadership of the Palestinian Authority.

Unfortunately they refused to do so and chose instead to make a political show of their trip. Most recent indications are that Reps Omar and Tlaib were not going to engage Israel meaningfully or even at all.

I stand fully with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israel regarding their right to deny admittance to anyone who advocates against the interests of Israel.
