Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., today released the following statement on Donald Trump withdrawing his nomination of John Ratcliffe for Director of National Intelligence:

"That John Ratcliffe was even nominated speaks to the deep disregard for America's national security at the core of this rotten administration. Given the widespread opposition to Ratcliffe's nomination, Donald Trump had little choice but to seek a new nominee."
