"It was an honor to speak at the Rural Networks Conference to announce my #InvestInBroadband legislation to bolster broadband in our communities -- these investments will help bridge the divide that's left too many New Mexicans disconnected.

The Broadband Infrastructure Finance & Innovation Act and the Map Improvement Act have bipartisan & bicameral support -- and we're still gaining support. Broadband deployment & improved mapping will ensure more New Mexicans have access to high-speed broadband across the state.

Nearly 20 percent of New Mexicans don't have a broadband connection. It's time to #InvestInBroadband to improve our economy and expand opportunities for students, families, and businesses. Glad to be championing this issue in the House!"
