Diaz-Balart Urges Confirmation of Alito for Supreme Court
WASHINGTON-Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) today urged the Senate to expeditiously confirm Judge Samuel A. Alito, Jr. to the United States Supreme Court.
"Judge Alito's credentials make him very well-qualified for this position. Judge Alito is committed to the rule of law and is a judge that strictly interprets the law. He was unanimously confirmed for the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and has now served with distinction for fifteen years. He has an excellent legal education and is widely praised for his fair-mindedness and even temperament."
