Statement

Date: June 11, 2019
Location: Washington, DC

Rep. Lois Frankel (FL-21) issued the following statement after voting for a civil contempt resolution for Attorney General Barr and former White House Counsel Don McGahn, which passed the House:

"At every turn, the Trump Administration has stonewalled Congress from conducting meaningful oversight into the corruption and abuses uncovered in the Mueller Report. Today, House Democrats voted to hold those obstructing the truth accountable. While they fight to hide the facts from the American people, we will conduct our Constitutional duty of oversight."
