Cotton Statement on Charges Against Julian Assange

Statement

Date: April 11, 2019
Location: Washington, DC

Today Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement on the U.S. Department of Justice charges against Julian Assange:

"Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning endangered the lives of American troops in a time of war. Since Assange is used to living inside, I'm sure he'll be prepared for federal prison. I commend Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Attorney General Bill Barr, and the president for working with the governments of the United Kingdom and Ecuador to bring Assange to justice."
