Congressman Cohen Announces UTHSC Research Grant

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) announced today that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center will be receiving a $609,360 grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to conduct vascular research.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
"This grant from one of the premier National Institutes of Health will help keep the University of Tennessee's medical school in Memphis at the cutting edge in medical research. I have long supported the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, and I am pleased it is funding this important research."
