Issue Position

Forest fires are a fact of life in California, made worse by backwards environmental policies that prevent sound forest management.

As your next State Senator, I will work to reduce the fire danger by supporting plans to actively manage the forest -- thinning and removing dead or dying trees and clearing undergrowth that fuels devastating fires. Sound forest management is also good for the economy and the environment.
