Scalise Statement on New Zealand Mosque Attack

House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following statement regarding the attack on two mosques in New Zealand:

"My deepest condolences and prayers are with the families of the victims senselessly killed in the Christchurch, New Zealand mosque attack. A house of worship should be a sacred place where people can feel safe practicing their faith. No one should ever be attacked or targeted for their faith, and I stand with leaders across the world in sending my support to all of those in the Muslim community during this difficult time."
