Statement

Date: Feb. 14, 2019
Location: Washington, DC

Today U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on FEMA Administrator Brock Long's announced resignation:

"I want to thank FEMA Director Brock Long for his outstanding service to the American people. He did a great job responding to hundreds of disasters," said Rep. Hudson. "I was proud to work with Brock on Hurricane Florence response and recovery, as well as other rebuilding efforts. As a North Carolina native, he had a good understanding of what our state needed to rebuild. I understand it's time for Brock to head back home to the Old North State to spend more time with his wife and children, and I wish them all the best in this next chapter."
