Congressman Kelly Armstrong Recommended to Serve on House Judiciary Committee

Congressman Kelly Armstrong was recommended today to serve on the House Judiciary Committee by the Republican Steering Committee. The recommendation now goes to the full Republican Conference for final approval.

Armstrong (R, N.D.) released the following statement on the recommendation:

"The House Judiciary Committee is on the frontlines of many issues that are important to North Dakota. On the committee, I'll use my experience as chairman of the North Dakota Senate Judiciary Committee and ten years in private practice to fight for all North Dakotans. The Judiciary Committee works on some of the most pressing issues, including immigration reform, defense of our 2nd Amendment rights, criminal justice reform, protection of civil liberties and personal privacy, and pro-life priorities. I look forward to working with my new colleagues on all of these issues.
