Congressman Kelly Armstrong Praises USDA Announcement on FSA Offices Reopening

Congressman Kelly Armstrong applauded the U.S. Department of Agriculture's announcement today that 19 Farm Service Agency offices in North Dakota will temporarily reopen to provide essential services.

"Agri-businesses across North Dakota need access to capital to manage their cashflows. Secretary Sonny Perdue and the administration have made the right move to bring back FSA staff to provide essential services to farmers and ranchers in North Dakota and the country," Armstrong (R, N.D.) said. "FSA offices will be open for three days to assist callers with servicing loans, processing certain payments and signing two-party checks."

USDA announced today that FSA offices will reopen on January 17, 18 and 22 to provide certain services. Offices that will be open in North Dakota are Bottineau, Carson, Cavalier, Devils Lake, Dickinson, Fargo, Grand Forks, Hillsboro, Jamestown, LaMoure, Langdon, Linton, Mandan, Minot, Mott, Park River, Selfridge, Towner and Williston.
