U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) released the following statement on the passing of President George H. W. Bush.

"President Bush was a proud statesman, honored veteran, and man of principle who dedicated his life to serving the American people. He will be remembered not only as a pragmatic and committed leader, but as a dedicated father, husband, brother, and friend. Paul and I extend our deepest condolences to the Bush family during this time."
