House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) today released the following statement after Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) was approved by the House Republican Conference to serve as Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Committee for the 116th Congress.

Chairman McCaul: "My colleagues on the Homeland Security Committee and I want to give our sincerest congratulations to Congressman Mike Rogers, who will serve this important Committee next Congress as the Ranking Member. Since coming to Congress, Mike has been a tireless advocate for the security of the American people.
