Issue Position

Education is the bedrock of our future here in Maryland. The values we instill at our Maryland institutions necessarily become the potential our great State aspires towards in the future. As a father of three children in public school I have seen how a successful educational system can be in assisting families develop respectful and honest young children.

Because Teachers are entrepreneurs at heart as well, I advocate for all methods and means that remove red tape and regulatory headwinds to the great work they are capable of performing. We set about education in my state by defining what it means to be the best that each student can become. Understanding that to achieve this goal means we educate as we run a business. Personal service to the customer (student). Professional respect for those that execute the business plan (teacher).
