Issue Position: Public Safety

Issue Position

We have to address public safety and the perception of crime throughout our town. Whatever it takes to provide a safe and secure quality of life is what we all strive for. That being said, there is no one quick fix and we are all in this together. We need to take a more collaborative approach to include not only the Hagerstown Police Dept. but also our local judicial system, our community leaders, and our residents. Working jointly and not against one another will be crucial so that together we can attack this head on and better our community as a whole.
