No parent should have to choose between paying for health care and paying the mortgage. Middle class families and small business owners are being hit the hardest. We must bring competition to the market place to drive prices down. I support a state system that creates competition in the market place as a way to bring down the price of healthcare. I am very concerned with the change of benefits and the eliminating of drug coverage for Medicare-eligible retirees. I believe that the plan agreed to at retirement should be honored by the state and I will do what I can to advocate for that.
