I am a life-long resident of District 86, and over the years I've traveled almost every back road, swam or fished almost every creek, lake and river, and hunted some of the most abundant woods in the area.
Without a doubt, we live in one of the most beautiful, scenic areas in the State of Oklahoma. There are so many economic and recreational opportunities in this area that I'm amiss as to why we are not utilizing our natural resources to their fullest potential.
Currently, Wal-Mart is funding the restoration of Lake Francis and creating a swift water rafting course. This project alone, if utilized and managed correctly, has the potential to turn Dist. 86 into what Eureka Springs once was.
Through creative planning, careful budgeting, and honest leadership, I will work hard to increase the economy, create more jobs, and bring positive attention to District 86.
