Today, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-13), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the following statement on the ousting of Attorney General Jeff Sessions:

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions' forced resignation is an alarming development. We must act immediately to protect the independence and integrity of the Office of Special Counsel's investigation. I urge my Republican colleagues to advance bipartisan legislation to protect the investigation -- before it's too late and we have a repeat of Nixon's "Saturday Night Massacre.'"
