As a life-long Staten Islander, raising a family here, Charles knows that keeping taxes low is crucial to keeping talent in this great state. New York sends $48 Billion more to Washington than we get back each year--now DC wants to increase this by another $14 billion. This is unacceptable and Charles supports putting any protections in place to prevent this burden on our state. He will do this by:

Supporting initiatives to restructure our current tax code

Find areas to reduce the burden wherever we can, such as increasing income eligibility rates for seniors, veterans, and the disabled on their property taxes
