West Virginia needs to continue to reduce regulation in the maze of bureaucracy that discourages businesses and entrepreneurs from entering the West Virginia economy. We should continue the efforts to reduce tort liabilities to industry where it is found to remove West Virginia as a choice for business location now or into the foreseeable future. Legislators should be advocates for the districts to attract businesses by connecting business leaders to resources in West Virginia. West Virginia must be forward thinking with human resource development in producing a skilled work force of the future. West Virginia competes against other states and against other countries- it's time we act like it.
