Issue Position: Infrastructure

For starters, funding for roads and bridges should be doled out based on merit and need, not politics. South Carolina governors should be in charge of appointing Department of Transportation commissioners and members of the State Infrastructure Bank. This way if these officials do not perform their duties in an impartial, objective manner -- everyone will know where the blame lies.
