Statement by Senator Jack Reed on Jack White

Senator Reed stated, "Jack White embodied the highest standards of integrity and social responsibility. His work both in print and on television was emblematic of the ideals of journalistic excellence, and I believe he will be remembered as one of the great newsmen and great gentlemen in Rhode Island history. Rhode Islanders will miss him, his wisdom and good humor. The thoughts and prayers of all Rhode Islanders are with him and his family."
