Today, JB Pritzker released the following statement on the Senate Judiciary Committee's vote on Brett Kavanaugh's nomination:
"I am deeply disturbed that the Senate Judiciary Committee advanced Brett Kavanaugh's nomination today amid several sexual assault allegations that have not been fully investigated,"said JB Pritzker. "A number of credible women have come forward with their stories and I believe them. I've called for an FBI investigation into these allegations and continue to urge the Senate to allow a full investigation to take place. But just this morning, Bruce Rauner refused to pull his support for a nominee he called "impressive.' Rauner should revoke his endorsement immediately before the full Senate confirms the man who could be the deciding vote on overturning Roe v. Wade."
