Issue Position: Lower Taxes: Reducing State Income tax and Reigning in Property Taxes

Issue Position

For conservatives, governing in a strong economy can be more challenging than a down economy. In order to maintain our lower cost of living and competitive advantages over other states, we need to lower the state income tax and be mindful of wasteful programs that could be eliminated from the state budget. We also need to take a careful look the structure of property taxes in Georgia to ensure our citizens are getting a fair value for their investment.
