Issue Position: Public Safety: Protecting Our Schools and Neighborhoods

Issue Position

Being safe in our schools and neighborhoods is the most important factor in our quality of life. We must continue strengthening our laws against news threats and old threats enabled by the internet. Gang activity is responsible for 80% of violent crime in district 48. I want to work with local law enforcement and give them the tools necessary to combat gang violence, drug distribution and sex trafficking. I am proud to be endorsed by the local Fraternal Order of Police and District Attorney Danny Porter. Together we can do even more to protect our families.
