Rosen Receives 100% Score from AAUW Action Fund
Today, Congresswoman Jacky Rosen (NV-03) released the following statement after receiving a 100 percent score from the AAUW Action Fund for her commitment in Congress to fight for and vote for legislation that advances equality for Nevada women and working families.
"I'm committed to supporting policies that ensure Nevada women and working families have the level playing field they deserve," said Rosen. "It's the reason why I'm fighting to end the wage gap for working women and opposing Republican efforts to take away access to critical health care services under Title X. I'll keep advocating for policies in Congress that break down barriers to good health care and real economic security for women."

The Paycheck Fairness Act, H.R. 1869, would strengthen and close loopholes in the Equal Pay Act of 1963 by holding employers accountable for discriminatory practices, ending the practice of pay secrecy, easing workers' ability to individually or jointly challenge pay discrimination, and strengthening the available remedies for wronged employees.
The Protect Access to Birth Control Act, H.R. 4082, which would repeal the Trump Administration's rule allowing virtually any empower or insurance company to deny contraception coverage, based on an extremely broad general religious exemption.
Last year, Rosen voted against a measure to restrict women's health through the Title X program when it came up for a vote on the House floor. The Title X program, which has been under attack by the Trump Administration, provides grants to public and nonprofit agencies for family planning services, research, and training. It is the only federal program devoted solely to family planning and related preventative health services. Title X dollars provide critical funding for services related to contraception, fertility, pregnancy, and cervical cancer screenings.
