Issue Position

Government should not get involved with things that individuals can do for themselves. The government does not exist to watch over every aspect of our lives. "Since no individual acting separately can lawfully use force to destroy the rights of others, does it not logically follow that the same principle also applies to the common force that is nothing more than the organized combination of the individual forces?" (The Law, Frederick Bastiat). I will work hard to reduce the size and scope of government and to limit its unnecessary influence on the lives of all Idahoans.
