Today, Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12) responded to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's testimonies before the Senate Judiciary Committee:

"Today, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford exhibited true courage and love for country. She shared a credible account of her painful experience with Brett Kavanaugh while the Republicans hid behind a former prosecutor who questioned Dr. Ford like a criminal. Dr. Ford did one of the hardest things a survivor of assault can do, and her bravery and strength is an example for all.

I was deeply disturbed by Judge Kavanaugh's testimony, temperament, and impartiality which raises concerns about his fitness to serve on the highest court in the land. I urge Senate Republicans to thoroughly investigate all allegations before any confirmation vote takes place."
