Issue Position

I have been a small business owner for the last thirteen years and have employed many Nevadans. I understand what it means to make payroll and balance a budget sheet. I know what it feels like to have the economy take a turn for the worst and have to make certain changes and adjustments in order to keep our doors open. We need to continue to promote innovative thinking and decrease the number of burdensome regulations that we place on businesses here in Nevada. As your Assemblywoman my priorities will be to:
Encourage a business-friendly environment and limit overreaching, burdensome regulations
Support a diverse economy that will provide high quality, high paying jobs
Ensure our workforce is prepared with the necessary skill sets so they can be successful
