Susie Lee Statement on Senate Vote to Confirm Brett Kavanaugh to Supreme Court

Local education advocate and nonprofit leader Susie Lee released the following statement in response to today's Senate vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

"Today is a painful day for survivors and marks the culmination of an incredibly divisive confirmation process. The American people had a right to a thorough, serious review of Judge Kavanaugh's record, especially in light of the credible testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and the questions raised about Judge Kavanaugh's truthfulness under oath. Instead, they got a rushed, partisan spectacle in pursuit of a speedy political win. The American people deserve better."
