After Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Mikie Sherrill released the following statement:

"It is important to have a system in place where survivors of sexual assault and violence can be heard. It's even more important to hear those voices when it comes to deciding the leadership in our country's highest offices. I am unbelievably impressed with the courage, fortitude, and bravery that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford showed today."
