I was elected to the Pico Rivera City Council in March 2007. During my years in office I have been instrumental in helping stabilize the city's finances.
As Mayor, I helped bring $76 million dollars for the Durfee underpass in Pico Rivera. As Senator, I plan to bring hundreds of millions of dollars of added resources that will help improve our entire district.
