STABLE HOMES FOR OREGON FAMILIES
I have a record of fighting for safe and stable homes for Oregon families. I fought alongside coalition members of Stable Homes for Oregon Families to protect tenants from out of control rent increases and no cause evictions. I worked closely with House and Senate leadership to advance House Bill 2004 through the legislative process in 2017 where the bill won a successful vote in the House but failed to pass the Senate.
This fight is far from over. While the bill was not reintroduced in the 2018 short session, the legislature is expected to tackle the issue in 2019. I remain committed to keeping families, children, seniors and veterans free from no-cause evictions and stable in their rental homes.
