Issue Position

We must ensure that our state has an outstanding educational system. We must fight to reverse the cuts made to our public school system and fully invest in our system. We also must continue to raise our teacher pay until we are amongst the top tier with respect to pay in the nation. We must not allow charter schools to be used to desegregate our school system as we recognize our students are better prepared when their learning environment mirrors the diverse population of our state.
