After advocates and legislators held Bruce Rauner accountable for vetoing critical healthcare legislation, JB Pritzker released the following statement:
"Bruce Rauner is once again attacking this state's healthcare system instead of signing legislation that will keep Illinoisans healthy," said JB Pritzker. "These are bipartisan bills to protect people with pre-existing conditions and build accountability in our system. Rauner's vetoes are more of the same from a governor who has consistently failed to stand up to Donald Trump as he undermines the Affordable Care Act. It's time Illinois had a leader with real plans to expand affordable healthcare for all families in Springfield."
